Chatham Hall: Now and Into the Future
A $25 million Capital Campaign (2003-2010)

One Person. Big Impact.

Chatham Hall has 2,700 alumnae of record—half the number of many of our peer schools. Every one of our supporters is important. Every one of their gifts counts. Gifts considered modest at large schools are cherished at Chatham Hall. They have a big impact.

You can make a difference.

Chatham Hall’s Capital Campaign began its five-year “quiet phase” in July 2003. At that time, Chatham Hall’s endowment was $12.9 million. Its Annual Fund was $800,000, with 23 donors contributing at the Rector’s Circle level of $10,000 or more.

By the end of the last fiscal year in June 2008, the endowment had grown to $25.4 million, the Annual Fund to nearly $1.2 million, and membership in the Rector’s Circle to 51 members (a 120% increase).

Small School. Generous Support.

Chatham Hall is on the path to achieving the following Capital Campaign goals:

Increase Endowment $9,000,000
Increase the Annual Fund $8,000,000
Improve Facilities $5,000,000
Strengthen Programs and the Marketing of the School $3,000,000
