Residential Dorm Life
More than 80 percent of our girls are boarding students, so naturally dorm life is a focus at Chatham Hall. During weekends and weeknights, students participate in a steady stream of activities in our student hangout, known as the Niche. Our dorm parents manage the “social calendar”: They plan mixers, trips to the mall, and dances with boys’ schools, plus outings to restaurants, concerts, plays, and movie theaters. Students also have ample opportunity to spend time with faculty members, many of whom live right on campus.
Residential students tend to develop lifelong friendships. They also learn independence and time management in a safe, supportive, nurturing environment.
