Student Council

The Student Council is an important body entrusted with a high level of responsibility. The council works in unison with the faculty to uphold the ethical standards of Chatham Hall, model the Purple and Golden Rule, and maintain a positive school atmosphere. The Student Council also is charged with hearing honor cases and certain disciplinary matters.

The Student Council consists of 12 seniors and two faculty members. The seniors are elected the previous spring by the entire school community. Dean of Students Kyle Kahuda is the Student Council sponsor; Academic Dean Martha Griswold serves as advisor for honor and major discipline cases.
